Surf Bar’s Epic Day Surfing in Oklahoma City. 

Why We Gather 

You can actually go surfing in a landlocked state like Oklahoma? Well, yes… that’s exactly what we did!  

When planning Surf Bar’s annual company-wide meeting, we saw no better fit for the brand than to take our employees surfing at Riversport OKC. Our team rode the waves both boogie-board and surf style! Sometimes the best team bonding comes from a solid wipeout in front of the whole crew. Vulnerability builds trust, and let’s be honest, it makes for a great story. At Surf Bar, we don’t just value a great açaí bowl; we value the people who make it all happen.   

Training with Intention 

Surf Bar’s annual meeting kicked off with an intense fruit-cutting competition between our store managers. It was Fruit Ninja brought to life! (We promise no fingers were lost or nicked during all the fun.) Surf Bar Chisholm Creek came out on top!  

As a company, we dug into our core values and vision for the future before breaking out into small groups for discussion. Surf Bar recognized our franchise partners and raffled items and gift cards from brands we admire like Simple Modern and Chick-fil-A.  

The day was all about learning what it means to serve intentionally, show devotion to our guests, and having fun!
